2014 standout Gaulden enjoyed Rocky Top
While Tennessee continues to focus on a final select number of targets for its 2013 recruiting class, the Vols also are making headway on the 2014 class as well.
There are a number of big-time in-state prospects in that signing class 17 months away, and among the biggest is defensive back Rashaun Gaulden. The Independence High School standout took an unofficial visit to the Vols' nationally televised showdown with Florida Saturday night and left with a much better impression of the UT program.
"Honestly, that's exactly what I needed for UT to climb up my charts. Just to see a good game like that played by them and see what Neyland Stadium has to offer," said the articulate Gaulden, a football and track standout. "Before, I had medium interest and now that interest has gone up because of what I saw at the game and how hot the atmosphere was and the hostility of the crowd."
