Scouting Trevon Bluiett

Indianapolis Park Tudor traveled to Brebeuf Jesuit Friday night, one of the better high school hoops atmospheres we've seen. The sold out crowd saw Michigan class of 2014 offeree Trevon Bluiett score 16 of points in the first half on his way to 36 in a 73-54 win.

Bluiett (6-7, Rivals.com's No. 46 junior nationally) isn't the best athlete in the'14 class, but he is one of the best scorers. He's quick to recognize when he has an advantage with the ball and uses it to get by defenders despite the absence of a great first step or outstanding ballhandling skills. He scored twice that way on lefty drives with righty finishes in the first half and plenty in the second by anticipating his move before catching a pass, using his off arm to finish in traffic when he had to.
