More CMU Game Times and TV Coverage Announced

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Additional game times for the 2013 Central Michigan football season have been announced, including kickoffs for all five of the Chippewas' home contests and two MAC road match-ups. Also released was television coverage information for three games.
CMU's 2013 home opener versus New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 7 is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3.

The Chippewas will open MAC play with the CMU vs. Toledo presented by MFCU game on Saturday, Sept. 21, which has been set for a 12 p.m. start. The conference showdown will be shown on ESPN Plus/ESPN3/ESPN Game Plan.
CMU's Homecoming clash with defending MAC champion and BCS bowl qualifier Northern Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 19 will kick off at 3 p.m.
Central will conclude the 2013 regular season at Kelly/Shorts Stadium with a 1 p.m. game against UMass on November 23 and a 3 p.m. game versus Eastern Michigan on November 29.
Central Michigan's road conference game versus Ohio on Saturday, Oct. 12 has been scheduled for a 2 p.m. start and the battle with for the Victory Cannon against rival Western Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 16 will kick off at 12 p.m., and will air nationally on ESPN Regional/ESPN Plus/ESPN Game Plan/ESPN3/WatchESPN.
Last week, it was revealed that Central Michigan's season opener on August 31 versus Michigan in Ann Arbor will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by the Big Ten Network.
Including the highly anticipated meeting with the Wolverines, Central Michigan is scheduled to appear in a total of six nationally broadcast games to date. The Chippewas will also take on Ball State in Muncie, Ind. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 (8 p.m.) on ESPN2 while the regular season finale versus EMU will be shown on ESPNU or ESPN3. In 2012, nine Central Michigan football games were aired nationwide, including the Chippewas' 24-21 victory over Western Kentucky in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl.
